West Texas Gateway Street Improvement Project
The Project work generally consists of , but is not limited to, the following: 1) Construction of a dedicated bus off-ramp leading directly into the Fairfield Transportation Center, 2) Modifying traffic signals at West Texas Street for the Eastbound I-80 off-ramp, 3) Construction of sidewalk on the south side of West Texas Street between the Eastbound I-80 off-ramp and immediately west of Beck Avenue, 4) Rehabilitation of the existing pavement and enhanced pedestrian crosswalks, 5) Construction of a raised median with planter area and installation of landscaping and irrigation, 6) street trees, groundcover landscaping, ornamental fence, and decorative street lighting on both sides of West Texas Street between the Eastbound I-80 off-ramp and immediately west of Beck Avenue, and all other work as shown on the Project Plans, as specified in the Contract Documents and as directed by the City Engineer.

Bids will be received until 2:00 PM on November 3, 2020 at the office of the City Engineer, 3rd floor City Hall, 1000 Webster Street, at which time bids will be opened. No phones are available at the City offices for use by the bidders. The wall clock at the Public Works Counter will be the final determination of the time.
